Our chief designer and engineer Geoff Whale Aerospace trained and delivers work of the highest quality, used by race teams around the world. He started this business to bring together two of his life-long passions: software engineering and performance motorcycles.
Geoff's innovations in ECU mappingare known globally and many have tried (and are still trying) without success to replicate his work.
We can perform the tuning and blueprinting work that is not cost effective for OEM manufacturers to carry out, liberating more power from your engine. Whether you want a blown engine rebuilding, ports gas flowing, some different camshafts fitting, or a full race engine build, we can help. Our Rolls Royce trained engineers work to the highest, most precise standards with impeccable attention to detail not found in your average workshop.
Improvements in technologies such as 3D scanning and printing allow our engineers to recreate no longer available parts for your beloved machine. From plastics to engine internals we can fabricate almost anything. Contact us with your needs for a bespoke quote.
When motorcycles are distributed throughout the world manufacturers adopt a one map fits all policy. This one map has to take into account many different factors that are inconsistent for each export country - such as climate, emissions regulations, fuel quality etc. What this means is that a standard ECU map is never optimised for one individual bike and situation and - due to the type of mapping used- ECUs have only very little inbuilt adaptability.
Here at Hilltop Motorcycles Ltd we specialise in engine management system software. Many other companies use techniques which are detectable and overwritable by dealers and service centres. Our software will improve the performance to the original engine designer's specification and the icing on the cake is that it cannot be overwritten or even be seen by anybody except us.
Many motorcycles suffer from harsh traction control settings and aggressive anti-wheelie settings. All of these elements can be refined and improved using feedback from our vast racing experience.
All of the software is custom written by ourselves and is not available anywhere else. All software and firmware is copyright protected.
Unit 11a Newton Road
Harrowbrook Industrial Estate
Our new workshop is situated in Hinckley with superb access from the A5, M69, M42 and M1. Once you enter Harrowbrook industrial estate you will see the Triumph Motorcycles office building on your right (note this is NOT the main Triumph factory). Follow the road straight down, passing Travis Perkins and V12 Sports and Classics on your left. The road then turns right and you will see a black and yellow sign saying 'Value 4 MOTs'. Turn left by that sign and we are on the right hand side about two thirds of the way down, next to Midland Helicopters.
